Sunday was Abbie's first Memorial Day BBQ over at Uncle Brians. She had a great time winning over all the guests with her toothy smile and patriotic dress.

Prudential's Summer Intern Program

On Friday, Abbie and Mommy came to visit Daddy at work. They had lunch and met some of his coworkers. It was a very slow day, but Abbie managed to keep busy:

Sent some emails.

Surfed the Web.


Even changed a diaper in Daddy's office.

This weekend Mommy & Daddy went to Boston with Krista & Evan... without Abbie & Ella. Abbie was lucky enough to spend the weekend split between both sets of grandparents. She had a great time and kept in close touch with us....

Happy Mother's Day

On Sunday Abbie celebrated her Mom's first Mother's Day.

6 Month Check-up & BFF Party

On Friday Abbie had her six month check-up. She is now 5 1/2 feet tall and weighs 105 pounds and ranks in the 92nd percentile for 6th graders. She also got another round of shots which weren't too much fun... but she handled them very well.


Later that night Ella came with her Mommy and Daddy for pizza. Everyone had a lot of fun - even moreso when Ella and Abbie went to bed (although they were very good together).

Caterpillar Photo Shoot

Today was the first day Abbie played with the caterpillar handed down to her from Team Somers. Originally given to Matthew by my Great Aunt Rita, this had to have been from nowhere other than FAO Schwarz. Aunt Rita was a very generous woman who would have loved to spoil Abbie with toys. It looks like Abbie loves this one already :)
