Cookies for Santa

Little known fact.... Santa comes early to 31 Bond, because when Abbie wakes up on Christmas Eve, he's already been here. Therefore, Daddy and Abbie needed to remember to put out cookies and carrots on Dec 23rd. For the record, Santa was SUPPOSED to get 3 cookies and a handful of carrots. But Abbie needed to test one of the cookies to make sure they were up to Santa's standards.

"Yup... good enough for me, means good enough for Santa.... O-tay?"

Oh Christmas Tree....

A couple of weekends ago, Abbie "helped" Mommy and Daddy set up the Christmas tree. She helped Mommy with some ornaments down low......


She helped Daddy hang Thomas the Train waaaaay up high....


And once she figured out the concept, she started to hang ornaments herself....


....by laying five ornaments horizontally across the same bottom limb.

Santa, Santa, Everywhere

On the train, at the mall, on the firetruck, and at Aunt Ellen's..... Santa must have a ton of frequent fliers miles. Will there be any presents left by the time Christmas comes????

Thanksgiving

I know I'm behind on the posts (what else is new).

Thanksgiving was at Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jack's house. Abbie put on a show.... literally. In fact, here's her serenading Uncle Craigy.... "Partridge Family style"

Read some books, modeled some jewelry, and did some coloring.....

And she ate zero turkey, zero stuffing, zero vegetables... and a bushel of grapes. Enough to match the amount of wine Aunt Bid drank throughout the day....

Potty

Abbie is obessed with the toliet (what Freud stage is that?). Anyway, we started experimenting with the potty. It started out with our clothes on, but the other day she went for the whole experience. And guess what creepy Dad was there with a camera?

Daddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! STOP!

(BTW... nothing happened. Maybe she needs to eat more prunes).

Happy Birthday Abbie

Hard to believe Abbie is already 2! Now she picks out her own birthday themes (Minnie Mouse), demands her birthday cake, and openly critiques any present not to her liking.

For those planning on buying Christmas presents... stay away from clothes and jewerly, unless you enjoy hearing, "I don't like dis" when the wrapping paper is opened.
