Signs Abbie Hangs Out Too Much With Daddy

The other day Mommy asked Abbie to stop what she was doing to clean up her coloring books. 

She responded... "yeah... yeah... I got it.  It's on my list"

Hershey Park!

This week Abbie went to Hershey Park with Mommy (courtesy of Grandmom) to enjoy the rides and check out Aunt Meg's dance team(s).

Tonight's Dinner Conversation

Mommy & Daddy asked Abbie to finish her dinner (against her will). This conversation ensued....

Abbie: "You Big People have to get out so I can run the house"
Dad: "Ok. Will you pay the mortgage too?"
Abbie: "Yes"
Dad: "Do you even know what that means --- to pay a mortgage?"
Abbie: "Paying the mortgage means I get to drink the beer"

Hard to argue against that one.....

Recession Summer

This summer Abbie joined a farmer's co op to help with the household expenses....

 

Dinner Date w/ Daddy

Tonight Mommy was at the shore celebrating with Aunt Alison & Company.  So Abbie spent the day with Daddy at the "beach" and then shopping for some last minute Father's Day gifts.

She was so good all day, so we topped off the night with dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings..... where Abbie told the hostess that we want to sit outside (without consulting with me first).

So as we were sitting outside (enjoying the sweeping views and buzz of Route 22 East traffic).... she's munching on her french fries and yells... "Oh!  So Beautiful.  So Beautiful Daddy!"

When I asked her what she was talking about.... she replied "That guy driving the truck", referring to a passing tow truck.

I'll be honest in that I never saw the guy (maybe he was).... but I'm seriously getting worried about Abbie's taste in men.

U.S. Open?

 Hey Abbie... nice hat.  Did you get a free bowl of soup with that?

" Hey Dad, can you move your shadow out of my line!?!? This is for birdie."

Babies & More Babies

After these visits by Baby Kayla and Baby Sean, Abbie has repeatedly asked specifically for a baby brother. Luckily, I was able to negotiate down to a cabbage patch kid and pack of Skittles.

The Doctor is in.... and she does house calls, if needed.

"Daddy... I'm gonna give you a shot... otay?"

 "Hold still...."

Uncle B and Aunt E's Wedding

Roaring success.  Great time had by everyone -- especially Abbie.  She loved being part of her Uncle's special day and (finally) officially welcoming "Aunt Erin" to the family.  In fact, she was having so much fun that quality family pictures were hard to come by.

Who would have thought that it would be so hard to get good pictures of such good-looking people....

Just got home from Disney. We're working on some videos.... but here's a few shots of the "celebs" we met, but we basically hit everyone except Pluto -- to Abbie's dismay. 

Anyway, all-in-all a great vacation.  She was such a big girl with the potty training and making friends with people of all ages everywhere she went.  We happily spoiled her rotten....

 In fact... we even let her moon all the other kids waiting in line for Cinderella!

Top five funiest things out of here mouth in the first 24 hrs at on vacation.. 5)(loudly) referring to the gentlemen sitting in the stall next to us when taking a potty break with daddy "he is my friend" 4) in the pool, "im not swimming with u mommy... Im just gonna sit here onthe step and splash daddys nipples" 3) to 2 men at urinals (again with daddy) "you guys can stand cuz ur boys. Im a girl so i sit" 2) to a 400 pound woman on a jazzy "why are you on that thing?" 1) to rashida, the check in girl at newark airport,... "my name is abbie and this is my friend chuck"

Easter Weekend in Pittsburgh

Over Easter weekend, Abbie drove out to Pittsburgh with Mommy & Daddy.

She got to hang out with Uncle Bu-tcccccccccccccchhhhhhh -- who quickly became one of her favorite uncles overnight.

Took in a baseball game between the Pirates and Phillies (every little Mets fans dream)

Had Easter brunch with the Moquins.....

And the Easter Bunny had a basket waiting for her when she got home.

But wait... there's more!!!! Abbie also learned that she gets to visit Cinderella and Mickey Mouse in three weeks down in Disney World. Does it get any better than that?

Snap Krackle Pop

Last week Mommy and Abbie spent some time in the kitchen making rice krispie treats. When Daddy got home, Abbie was so excited to have him try one -- she raced to the door, and said

"Daddy! Daddy! Would you like a...... a..... a..... hey Mommy.... what are 'doze things called again?"
