March Madness

Just realized I never posted this.... better late than never....

Daddy figured it was never too young to fill out a bracket. Unfortunately it took about 4 days to fill it out -- mainly because Abbie's attention span was way too short to complete the bracket in one sitting. Anyway, here's what it looked like.

Final Four: Duke, BYU, Gonzaga, Alabama..... Alabama cutting down the nets.

Sleeper Pick: two 16 seeds -- UNC-Ashville & LIU Brooklyn

Apparent Strategy: Always pick the team Daddy mentions second unless they either 1) have letters for their name OR 2) have a name that makes her giggle

And how did it turn out??? Well, she's certainly no Jimmy the Greek --- she picked 31.7% correct (20 of 63). Next year she promised me that she'll pay attention to Dick Vitale more....

Catch-up #3 - St Pats

This year Abbie got to stay up for the St Patricks Day Party!!!!!!!

Catch-up #2 - CIRCUS!

A few weeks ago, Abbie went to the "circus" with Mommy & Daddy. As part of a Christmas present, Daddy chose second row for the Big Apple Circus instead of mezzanine for Ringling Brothers... considering Abbie had a blast, I guess I chose right.
There was a "giant" ring with an "elaborate" set....

and Letterman's Stupid Pet Tricks.

Abbie LOVED it (and her $10 florescent wand)....

and Mommy had a real great time too.

Catch-up Blog #1

Apologies to our blog fans about the lack of posts... hoping to have several of these over the next few days to show you what Miss A has been up to....

First off.... we have a NEW BED!!!!!!!

And yes... it's a full-size bed. Nothing less for the Princess who has her own full bathroom and walk-in closet. She did "help" Daddy take apart the crib, but as you can see below... it didn't take long for her (and her "friends") to get comfortable with the new bed. Every stuffed animal has its place.

Weekend with Ella

This weekend Abbie went to visit Ella at her new house. Both the parents and kids had a lot of fun (as always). I think the biggest change was that the two girls legitimately played together. It was funny to watch them negotiate the next game to play, or how to share toys. For the most part, they entertained (and policed) themselves..... leaving the parents to figure out what to do with all that wine.
