Abbie's Perfect World!

I am delaying the "Easter post" to point out something very important that has just occurred to me:


Tonight Abbie is on the eve of her 5th month birthday. And right now, at this very moment, we can say that in her lifetime...

  1. the Mets have never lost a game.
  2. the Yankees have never won a game*

*for those keeping score at home... she was born 90 minutes after the last Yankee ticker tape parade ever (hopefully)

If somehow Duke loses the National Championship tonight to a bunch of Opie-looking farm boys from the Horizon League... she might as well consider the world perfect.
