Vacation!

Abbie has been so busy lately that we haven't had a chance to blog about it. All last week she was enjoying her first of two summer beach vacations. This one was in Dewey Beach, Delaware, where she was catchin some rays and having fun with Mommy & Daddy, Grammy & Grandpa, Aunt Ali & Craig, and Aunt Bid.

Rather than blog it all at once, every day this week we'll post some of the great times she had last week. So here's the first of several vacation posts to fill you in on her adventures.

First of all, the best news of the vacation was that (for the most part)... Abbie loved the beach. She enjoyed playing in the sand with her hands and feet, she liked the waves on her toes, and she loved playing with all her new beach toys.

But just like Daddy & Grandpa... she had a limit on how much beach heat she could take at one time. So in between naps at the house, she also spent a lot of time under Grandpa's umbrella or her tent.
